Updated 13:00 Saturday, November 7: A spokesperson for Northwestel says internet and cable home phone services have been restored in Yellowknife.
Earlier today, the company said customers in several jurisdictions could experience disruptions because of a server issue.
Residents and businesses in Yellowknife, Fort Smith and Norman Wells were told to expect disruptions. Customers in parts of Whitehorse, High Level and Fort Nelson were also impacted.
Since the issue was server-related and not network-wide, some customers may not have experienced any disruptions at all.
