G.N.W.T considers developing single health superboard

Yellowknife, NWT – The Government of the Northwest Territories is looking at developing a single strategic plan for the health and social services system.

That’s according to a discussion paper released Tuesday by Health and Social Services Minister Glen Abernethy.

The territorial government is seeking input on options for ensuring the territory’s system better meets the changing needs of N.W.T residents.

Abernethy says he’s travelling to regions across the territory to meet with residents and gather feedback on plans for best health, best care and a better future.

The Department has created a survey for residents to respond to the discussion paper.

People have until September 30th to provide feedback.
