Yellowknife R.C.M.P charge man in stabbing outside Coyote’s Steakhouse

Yellowknife, NWT – Yellowknife R.C.M.P say they have charged a man in connection with a stabbing near Coyote’s Lounge in the city over the weekend.

Police say 24-year-old Nathan Hodges has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.

Hodges stabbed Yellowknife resident Chase Van Metre 15 times outside the Steakhouse and Lounge around 3am Saturday.

Van Metre was released from hospital on Tuesday.

Hodges meanwhile, is scheduled to appear in court in Yellowknife Friday morning.
