Man stabbed multiple times outside Coyote’s Steakhouse in Yellowknife

Yellowknife, NWT – Yellowknife R.C.M.P say a man is in stable condition after he was stabbed multiple times at Coyote’s Steakhouse over the weekend.

Police say the incident happened just before 3 AM on Saturday.

The man was treated at Stanton Territorial Hospital in Yellowknife, where he was found to have incurred multiple stab wounds.

The Mounties are asking for help from the public, and are reminding people that tips could lead to a cash reward if they lead to an arrest.

We have a lot of traffic that comes in and out of that location, as well as a lot of families that live in that location. So the place of the mural would be right at the entryway,” said Ward. “It's going to create a really great inclusive welcoming space," she added.

Boil water advisory lifted for the community of Wrigley

The Chief Environmental Health Officer has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for the community of Wrigley and is asking the community to flush water faucets and equipment prior to using the system water.

Seven including a 17 year-old allegedly involved in trafficking in Hay River

A 17 year-old is facing charges following an alleged drug trafficking incident in Hay River that saw seven people arrested.  Officers say that the weekend incident is part of an “ongoing investigation” by the Hay River Detachment and the Territorial Crime Reduction Unit.
