Alcohol suspected in fatal car accident near Behchoko

One person is dead and another injured following a single-vehicle rollover on the access road to Behchoko. 

Police came across the accident at approximately 1:00pm on Wednesday while out on patrol. The crash occurred at an intersection along the access road.

Both individuals were transported to the Behchoko Health Centre where one was pronounced dead and the other is being treated for injuries.

Police say the route will be closed for at least one hour. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
