Yellowknife resident wakes up to unknown man in bedroom

Police in Yellowknife are investigating after a resident on Gitzel Street woke up to an unknown man standing in their bedroom Sunday morning.

The occupied break and enter happened around 5:20am, according to RCMP.

The man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up, and dark jeans at the time.

Police say the suspect, who hasn’t been identified at this time, fled as soon as the resident turned their light on.
