City of Yellowknife proceeds with construction of bike lanes on 52nd Avenue

Yellowknife, NWT – Road reconstruction has now begun on Yellowknife’s 52nd Avenue.

The City of Yellowknife says construction stretches from 49th Street to 56th Street.

The work includes asphalt and curb removal and reinstallation.

Raised bicycle lanes are also being built on that stretch of 52nd Avenue.

The city says the avenue will remain open to traffic but with limited access.
