The Fort Resolution RCMP are currently seeking information on the current whereabouts of a wanted suspect.
25-year-old Leron John from Edmonton is currently facing charges for various incidents that took place last year. His charges include Assault with a weapon, Uttering threats against a person, Possession of a weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Possession of Property obtained by crime.
After failing to appear in court, a warrant has been made for John’s arrest within the Northwest Territories. John is also the subject of a Canada-wide warrant that was issued in Alberta for Discharging a firearm with intent. Even before these warrants were issued, John was placed under several judicial release conditions.
He is described as a black male, around 5’6” tall and 130lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who has information on his current location is asked not to approach him, and report his whereabouts to the nearest RCMP detachment.
