NTHSSA Adjusts Services as they Change Operating Locations

With the NWT Health and Social Services Authority have shared some “need to know: information as they prepare to move their operations into the Łıwegǫ̀atì Building.

As of May 24th, the NTHSSA has begun the process of moving their services out of the Frame Lake Clinic, Yellowknife Primary Care Clinic, and the Stanton Medical Centre. It is expected that this move will take about a week to complete, and will be completed on Thursday, May 30th. No appointments have been booked for the following week, and no other appointments will be affected.

During this moving period, NTHSSA employees will be busy setting up their new workplaces and moving equipment into its new home. Staff will be making sure that the equipment is working properly, and will be establishing new workflow practices, all to make sure that they can effectively help patients once they open up.

If anyone needs an appointment during the moving period, same-day services will remain in operation at the Yellowknife Primary Care Centre with an increased capacity. None of the phone numbers for these services will be changed, though a new operational phone number for the Łıwegǫ̀atì Building will be set up soon.
