Tuition Fees set to rise for Aurora College

For the first time since the 2018-2019 year, Aurora College will be increasing their tuition fees.

This tuition increase will be in effect for the 2024-2025 year, and will remain within what is provided by the Northwest Territories Student Financial Assistance. The SFA received an enhancement in June of 2023 to help NWT students with the rise of education costs. These enhancements gave increased levels of funding for tuition fees, as well as books and living costs.

The new tuition costs will now be $2,520 per term, with the cost of a single course will be $510 for most classes. With some exceptions such ass nursing and healthcare practicum courses, the fees will be even higher. Tuition fees for international students will remain to be three times the cost for domestic students.

In the past, around seventy-five percent of Aurora students have made use of the SFA, with others receiving funding from other providers such as Indigenous governments and agencies, and Canadian student assistance programs.
