RCMP Charge Deline Man in Homicide Investigation

Charges have been laid in an RCMP investigation into a sudden death that occurred in Deline.

On March 9th, the Deline RCMP were asked to check on a resident in the community. Once they arrived, they found a man suffering from serious injuries. The man was quickly transported to the local health centre, but ended up passing away a short time later.

Conducting an investigation with the Northwest Territories Major Crime Unit, the RCMP were able to arrest 38-year-old Jonathan Tetso and charge him wit manslaughter for this incident. Tetso is currently in custody and awaiting an appearance in court.

The investigation remains ongoing.
