The Town of Hay River is getting ready to hold their Santa Claus Parade to welcome the Christmas season!
The event will be taking place on Friday, November 24th, and will run from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, taking place at the Wright Centre. Tables will be free use for local vendors and artists.
Anyone who wishes to enter the parade has until Thursday, November 23rd to apply. Floats will meet on the service road in front of the North Country Inn & Motel between 6:00 and 6:15. A Town of Hay River employee will check the floats in.
The parade will begin at 6:30. It will progress along Woodland Drive, and come to an end at the Northern Store Parking Lot. Prizes will be available, with $100 for third place, $200 for second place, and $300 for first.
