The Northwest Territories Power Corporation has announced two communities will experience planned power outages later this week.
The first will occur in Wrigley on October 26th, from around 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm. This outage will allow for work to be completed at the local plant, and will impact the entire town.
The second outage will occur in Wha Ti on Sunday, October 29th, and will last between 5:00 am to 6:00 am. This outage will also affect the entire community, but will allow workers to perform important maintenance at the power plant, and along the distribution system.
Additionally, the NTPC is aware of an outage in the community of Paulatuk. A work crew has arrived at the community and is working at the plant to resolve the issue.
