Yellowknife Library Offering New Programs

The Yellowknife Public Library has several new events coming up in the next few weeks.

The Chess club is making its return on Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All ages and skill levels are welcome, and lessons will be available for those who are unfamiliar with the game.

The Library’s weekly games night will also be hosting lessons on speaking Tłıchò¨ Yatıı ̀¨ Language instructors ̀€Georgina Franki and Rosie Benning will host this event on Friday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the library. Language learners of all ages and speaking levels are welcome to join. The program runs from September 29th to December 1st.

Finally, the Colour Me Happy event is offering a way for teens and adults alike to de-stress with various colouring sheets and supplies in the magazine area. Prizes are also available through this program.
