Hay River laundromat offers free service for displaced residents

Humanitarian organization GlobalMedic has partnered with Hay River-based Cleaner Creeks Laundromat to launch free laundry service for displaced residents due to the wildfires. 

The program began today and continues until September 28th. Anyone in need of the service is invited to come during business hours (7:00am to 9:00pm) on those dates. 

Customers will be provided with free laundry detergent and free access to Cleaner Creeks facilities. 

Anyone who chooses to use the service is asked to only wash essential items such as clothing, and each participant has a maximum of two loads per person.
