Several City Run Facilities Now Open At Regular Hours

Starting today, a number of city run services will be coming back in Yellowknife.

City hall is once again open, and on it’s regular Winter hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Planning, Lands, and Building services are also now available. The Municipal Enforcement Division in City Hall is also operating as usual once again.

The Yellowknife Public Library is open again on it’s normal hours. In-person and online services are back in operation as well, though the library’s special programs will still take some time before they resume.

The Visitor Information Centre and the Fieldhouse are open again at their regular hours.

The Yellowknife Multiplex is open for regular hours, and on September 25th, one sheet of ice will be available.

Finally, the Solid Waste Facility is once again open at their regular hours, and their regular service fees are back in effect. The $0 tipping fee that was previously in place for residential garbage is now no longer available.

The Ruth Inch Memorial Pool is still closed at the moment. The pool is still going through its annual maintenance before it can open to the public for use. The facility is slated to be open to the public on Monday, October 2. More information on swimming lessons and registration dates will be provided in the upcoming days.
