Old Town Bikeworks gears up for another Old Town Ramble and Ride

Old Town Ramble and Ride is back in Yellowknife, and the weekend is full of activities for all ages. 

Starting on August 5th, businesses and art galleries across Old Town are playing host to several activities, storytelling, and even musical acts. 

Old Town Glassworks/Bikeworks is hosting a variety of festivities over the weekend, but owner and operator Matthew Grogono says he’s looking forward to one event in particular. 

“It’s a highlight of the year,” Grogono tells MyTrueNorthNow. 

Grogono’s business- ‘Old Town Bikeworks’ has the privilege of hosting the Bike Parade Party, marking the end of the 2023 bike parade, a crowd favourite for many festival goers. 

The event kicks off at 9:30am and finishes at 11:30am when the party starts. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated bike, coolest character, grooviest group, and many more.
