Fort McPherson RCMP recently dealt with a case of Assault involving a weapon over the weekend.
Officers initially responded to a complaint of a fight breaking out between six individuals on July 28th. The caller reported that one of the people in the fight was armed with a knife. The group had dispersed by the time officers arrived at the scene.
Reporting to the local medical clinic, officers found a 29-year-old woman who had recieved minor injuries to her face as a result of the fight.
Officers are still investigating this incident, and are working with very little information at this time. Anyone who has any information about this case is encouraged to contact the Fort McPherson RCMP.
