On Saturday, July 22, at 4:12 am, the Yellowknife Fire Division (YFD) received a call for service to a home on 52nd Street.
Upon arrival, crews determined the side of the house was on fire. YFD says crews acted quickly and were able to contain and eventually extinguish the fire which affected the exterior and the interior of the residence.
According to YFD, the occupants were able to safely leave their home and no injuries have been reported.
YFD says the scene has been turned over to the Office of the Fire Marshal for further investigation.
