Fort Good Hope RCMP recently seized a significant amount of liquor that came to the community via boat.
The search was made on June 3rd, as the vessel arrived in the community. Three men aboard the boat will be charged according to the NWT Liquor Act, and will appear in court in Fort Good Hope on August 2nd.
The liquor seized amounts to 24 bottles of vodka in varying sizes, a 750ml bottle of spiced rum, and a 750ml bottle of butter ripple schnapps.
Police in the NWT continue to be committed to stopping the flow of illegal drugs and alcohol into the Territory. They encourage anyone with knowledge of any illegal distribution activities to contact their local police departments.
