A Saskatchewan man is facing charges after police in Yellowknife seized a loaded handgun and drugs from a home in Yellowknife.
The RCMP says they executed a search warrant at at the residence on Sissons Court on August 25th, during which, investigators located a loaded 9MM handgun, a quantity of crack cocaine and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
The unidentified accused is now facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of prohibited weapon and unsafe storage of a firearm, among others.
Authorities say the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
