Yellowknife Fire Ban Has Been Lifted

Effective immediately, the mandatory ban on open air fires that was put in place on Thursday, June 9, 2022, has been lifted for the City of Yellowknife. The ban may be reinstated at any time if extremely dry forestry conditions return.

Please practice fire safety at all times, burn responsibly, and ensure your fire is cold before leaving.
