NWT Basketball hosts sports trivia fundraiser

Yellowknife, NWT – Yellowknife sports aficionados had a chance to test their knowledge this weekend.

Damien Healy, the president of N.W.T Basketball, explains.

“The idea was to have a sports trivia challenge at the upstairs Elks May 31 at 7pm. We wanted to have teams of four to eight people to see who knows the most sports trivia in town. The cost was $200 per team and the revenue will go towards N.W.T Basketball activities.”

Healy says the trivia challenge included local and international sports.

He says it was a great excuse for local sports teams or offices to put a team together and test their sports knowledge.
