Ecole St. Patrick School Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat

The Ecole St. Patrick High School has received a bomb threat.

Yellowknife RCMP were contacted by the school around 8:30 a.m. as a response to a bomb threat made to the school. Officers are currently in the process of securing the school. 

Students at the St. Patrick school, as well as the Weledeh Catholic School have all been safely evacuated, and no other schools have been impacted at this time. 

Yellowknife RCMP, with the assistance of the “G” Division Police Dog Service, are continuing their investigation into this matter, and are asking the public to avoid the area at this time.

If anyone has any information regarding this situation, they are asked to contact the Yellowknife RCMP at 867-669-1111.
