Drive-in movie night returns to Yellowknife

The City of Yellowknife has announced the return of the Drive-In Movie Night. This fall’s event will take place on September 17th.

The movie chosen for the screening is Boss Baby 2, an animated comedy. The movie will screen this Friday at 8:15 p.m at the Fieldhouse.

Tickets will be available for $20 per vehicle on a first-come-first-served basis from 9 a.m. on September 16th. A ticket is required to attend this event.

The city says this year’s viewing area is double that of previous drive-in movies and includes the parking lots on two sides of the Fieldhouse so that more Yellowknifers can experience the event.

Anyone who wants to reserve a vehicle spot, can head dover to the city’s website or call 669-3457.

The city says the event may change with little notice and all updates will be communicated with the public on social media.
