A man is recovering in Edmonton after being assaulted in downtown Yellowknife on Tuesday evening.
RCMP say they were called to help emergency medical services after the man was found injured in the alley between 50 Street and 51 Street, at around 8pm.
A suspect has subsequently been arrested and was due to appear in court on Wednesday. The victim was taken to Edmonton by medevac for treatment.
No further information about the identity of anyone involved in the assault has been released.
