Vaccine priority groups expanded for big three communities, dates added for YK

As of March 1st, priority populations will be expanded for first dose appointments in Yellowknife, Hay River, and Inuvik.

Essential frontline workers aged 18+ who interact directly with the public and are unable to work virtually in schools, hotels, grocery stores, drugstores, banks, libraries, postal service, liquor stores, gas stations and convenience stores, customer service agents at airports and media are now eligible to receive the vaccine.

For those who wish to make an appointment in Yellowknife, visit the online booking site. For other locations see the schedule.

The NWT Health and Social Services Authority has also opened up second dose bookings in Yellowknife from March 8th-13th.

Anyone who received their shot more than 28 days ago can now book an appointment.
