More vaccine clinics opening up around the territory

Clinics have been added for several more NWT communities for both first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine..

The announced clinics will fall between February 22nd – March 6th.

The clinics open this week are in Lutsel K’e from February 22th-24th, in Fort McPherson from February 22nd-24th, in Gameti on February 22nd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Youth Centre and in Whati on February 23rd and 24th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Youth Centre,

Other clinics this week will take place in Aklavik on February 25th and 26th, in Dettah on February 26th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dettah Gym and in N’Dilo on February 27th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community Wellness Centre.

The clinics open next week are in Fort Providence from March 1st-4th at the Fort Providence Community Hall, in Fort Simpson from March 1st-3rd at the Fort Simpson Recreation Centre, in Tuktoyaktuk from March 1st-3rd at Kitti Hall, in Deline on March 2nd and 3rd and in Tulita on March 4th and 5th.

Clinics for next week will also be held in Behchoko from March 1st-5th, in Fort Smith from March 2nd-6th at the Salt River First Nation Business and Conference Center, in Norman Wells from March 2nd-4th, in Fort Resolution on March 4th and 5th and in Fort Liard from March 4th-6th at the Community Hall.

Second doses clinics in Inuvik are opening from March 1st-8th. Residents will be contacted by Public Health with an appointment date and time. First dose appointments for priority populations will be starting March 8th.

Hay River clinics will be starting March 1st. Residents getting second doses will be contacted directly by Public Health. Priority populations getting first doses should call 874-8400 to book.

The NTHSSA says more dates and details are expected to be added this week.
