Input wanted on GNWT Addictions Recovery services

The Department of Health and Social Services is asking individuals who have accessed NWT addictions recovery services, for their input on their Addictions Recovery Survey.

The GNWT is looking for information on what supports and/or services are working, what needs to be strengthened, and any barriers or challenges they have/had in accessing services.

The survey is the first approach to engagement around addictions recovery, and will inform future additional engagement activities such as targeted focus groups.

Results from this survey will help inform the development of a Territorial level report to be used in the continuous quality improvement of the mental wellness and addictions recovery system.

The survey will also help inform the need for an NWT treatment facility and a Territorial Alcohol Strategy.

Hardcopies of the survey are available at local community counselling program offices and treatment facilities.

The deadline for filling out the survey is March 31st.
