The Yellowknife Artist’s Cooperative is hosting their first event of the year, called Expedition Old Town.

The event is a walking tour of historic Yellowknife, guiding residents through various attractions in the Old Town area. The walk includes a bannock tasting at Bullock’s Bistro, a free-style dance session and souvenir glassmaking run by Old Town Glassworks.

The first time slot will be guided by Old Town celebrity guest Wayne Guy. Guy is a longtime Yellowknifer who works as an architect, designing several buildings throughout town and also  designed the Inuvik Family Center, which contains the most northernly swimming pool in the world.
