Wednesday 3pm update : The Whatì Winter Road has reopened. Please drive with caution and watch out for maintenance crews.
Tuesday 3pm: Due to high winds, drifting snow and poor visibility the Whatì Winter Road is closed to all traffic at this time according to the Department of Infrastructure.
There is no indication yet as to when the road will reopen.
There is currently a blowing snow advisory in effect for the North Slave Region.

Infrastructure says they will provide an update when they are able to reopen the road and apologize for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
