Folks on the Rocks 40TH Anniversary Festival postponed to 2021

On April 15th,  the Folk On The Rocks administration team released a statement confirming the decision to postpone the 40th Anniversary Festival until 2021.

In the statement the organizers say that during the span of this pandemic, they held onto hope and optimism that the July timeline would allow FOTRs to go forward, and celebrate the end of the quarantine. However, as the public health emergency continues, it has become evident that they will not be able to host a safe festival this summer.

All 2020 festival ticket holders are eligible to receive a full refund. Organizers are working hard with partners at Showclix to ensure this process is as smooth as possible.

They are asking ticket holders to complete this online form by April 30th, which also provides patrons with the option to donate the value of their ticket back to Folk On The Rocks.

A gesture that organizers recognize may not be possible for many of community members during this time, but are immensely grateful for those who can.

Ticket holders can expect to receive a refund no later than May 14, 2020.

Folk On The Rocks is planning to return to the sandy shores of Long Lake on July 16-18, 2021.

In respect to the many artists who are now without the gigs initially promised and to their audience whose enthusiasm for this year’s lineup was incredible organizers are hopeful that next year’s lineup will look similar.

The FOTRs team is committed to working hard over the next 12 months to carry over as much of that lineup in 2021 as possible.

Even though Folk On The Rocks 2020 will be unable to go ahead, they have decided to celebrate staying 39 for another year with a series of limited-edition. merchandise.
