Inuvik RCMP investigating theft

The Inuvik RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in solving an alleged theft that occurred in Parks Canada’s vehicles on or between the evening of December 1st, 2019 and 7:00 a.m., on December 2nd, 2019.

Overnight, LED Light Bars and one mounting bracket were stolen off of two Parks Canada vehicles, located at the Parks Canada Western Arctic Office, on Kingmingya Road according to the RCMP.

The Light Bars are described as “E-Series PRO 20 Inch” and are in new condition. One of the missing Light Bars does not have a mounting bracket attached.

Anyone with information on suspicious activity is asked to call Inuvik RCMP at 777-1111, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 nwtnutips.com, (click on “submit a web tip”) or text: “nwtnutips” plus your message to 274637.
