‘Pepper spray’ robbers sought after attack at Shell gas station

Your help is needed after thieves attacked a Shell gas station employee in Yellowknife.

The attempted robbery took place at around 7am on Wednesday, April 22, at the Shell Station on Range Lake Road.

RCMP say one of the suspects, armed with a weapon that appears to be pepper spray, attacked an employee and then jumped behind the counter.

Both suspects fled before police arrived. It’s not clear if they managed to escape with anything of value.

Shell’s employee needed treatment for minor injuries in hospital.
