Aklavik RCMP charge man following assault

The Aklavik RCMP has charged a man in relation to an aggravated assault.

At approximately 4:40 p.m., on Sunday, October 6,  theAklavik RCMP received a call for service regarding an injured 36-year-old man.

The victim has been treated in Edmonton for a serious, life-threatening injury. The RCMP started an investigation and subsequently, arrested Thomas Gordon, 28-year-old, from Aklavik.

Thomas Gordon has been charged with Aggravated Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court in Aklavik on November 21, 2019.
