Within minutes, four RCMP members attended the residence to find a 17-year-old male youth outside the residence, still armed with weapons. The youth immediately ran inside the residence where other family members were staying.

As the situation was volatile, the members proceeded rapidly into the residence. A Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) was deployed as the suspect became violent towards the RCMP members, and to take the suspect into custody.
