A grand opening for the Town of Hay River’s recreation centre is taking place Saturday.
The Centre has been open for over a year, it was completed in time for the March 2018 South Slave Arctic Winter Games.
Saturday’s event will start at 12:30 with a facility tour open to all, followed by speeches, a ribbon cutting, barbecue and live music.
NWT MP Michael McLeod, Minister of Infrastructure Wally Schumann and Mayor Kandis Jameson will be present at the event.
