The GNWT will be sharing plans for Hay River’s Merlyn Carter airport with residents and industry Thursday.
“This is an opportunity for the public and industry to learn more about the master plan, share insights, and ask questions,” the Department of Infrastructure states.
The GNWT is working on an update to the master plan for the airport with a goal to ensuring the airport meets the needs of the region. “Master plans typically address the development needs for a 20-year time period, and are updated every five years.”
The session will take place Thursday, June 13th at the Doug Wieterman Hall in Hay River, starting at 7 p.m.
