RCMP charge YK man with second sexual assault in five months

Police in Yellowknife have laid another charge of sexual assault against Frank Mannilaq, the man accused of groping a woman at a local gas station two weeks ago.

RCMP say the latest charge stems from an incident that took place in December 2014.

In that case, a woman reported that an unknown man groped her as she exited a grocery store downtown.

Mannilaq, 41, was later arrested by officers for public intoxication but no further charges were laid at the time.
