Police charge teen with firearms theft – guns still missing

Police have charged an 18-year-old with stealing firearms from a Range Lake house – but the guns are still missing.

An AR-15 rifle, a .40 caliber Glock pistol and 2,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen during the theft on March 13.

Yellowknife teenager Brendan Paul has been charged with breaking and entering to steal a firearm.

RCMP arrested Paul on March 31, but waited a week before making that information public as they tried – unsuccessfully – to find the missing guns.
