Members of C Company will be marching through Yellowknife Wednesday evening.
Soldiers of the Canadian Armed Forces C Company, the Loyal Edmonton Regiment, will conduct a ‘rucksack march’ dressed in full gear and carrying their personal weapons. The exact route will be determined by the commander of C Company prior to the march, however, it is confirmed the march will happen in the evening.
“Members of the public are encouraged to approach and speak with soldiers if they encounter them and wish to do so,” Sgt. Tristan Cunningham states. A safety vehicle will follow the members during the march.
C Company is a primary reserve unit of the Canadian Army, based in Yellowknife.
