Members of Yellowknife’s Canadian Army reserves will march through the Kam Lake area, fully equipped and armed, for a training march Wednesday evening.
Between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24th, C Company, the Loyal Edmonton Regiment will march along Deh Cho Boulevard from Kam Lake to the sand pits. They will carry their equipment and weapons during the training, but no ammunition will be carried and no weapons will be used. A safety vehicle will also follow the group.
March organizers say the public is welcome to approach and speak with members of C Company if they encounter them during the march.
