Yellowknife, Behchoko public meetings on protecting children online

The RCMP is holding meetings in Yellowknife and Behchoko to inform the public about online safety for children.

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is a charity which runs national programs with a goal of reducing the victimization of children. They run cybertip.ca, an online tip line for reporting online sexual exploitation of children. The organization will be presenting together with RCMP ‘G’ Division about online safety and protecting children from sexual abuse.

The sessions are open to the public. They will be held at the following locations:

April 10th, 6:30 p.m. at Behchoko’s community government building
April 11th, 6:30 p.m. at Yellowknife’s St. Joseph School
