Man charged for groping woman at Yellowknife gas station

A man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault following an incident at a Yellowknife gas station over the weekend. 

On Friday night, RCMP were informed that a woman had been sexually assaulted by an intoxicated man who also attempted to enter her vehicle.

It is alleged that the woman was groped by the man after he approached her asking for a cigarette.

Frank James Mannilaq, 41, was arrested and charged with sexual assault.

He will appear in a Yellowknife courtroom Tuesday.

Doug Prendergast with NTPC said a metal plate inside the tank was repaired after a crack determined to be the cause of the leak was found.
