RCMP halts bootlegging operation in Lutsel K’e

A woman has been arrested by the Lutsel K’e RCMP after “a significant amount of liquor” was discovered inside a home. The RCMP were called to a disturbance complaint at a residence on the afternoon of March 21st and as a result of the investigation the following bottles of liquor were seized:

  •  30 375mL bottles
  • 33 200mL bottles
  • 1 750mL bottle
  • 2 1.75L bottles

Charges are currently pending.

Lutsel K’e is an alcohol prohibited community and no amount of alcohol is permitted within the community boundaries. The total value of this seizure is estimated at $3400.
