Police seek Yellowknife man, wanted on multiple charges

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding 38-year-old Yellowknife man Gary Taylor.

Taylor is wanted on an arrest warrant and was last seen in downtown Yellowknife, in the 50 St. and 52 Ave. area Monday at around 12:45 p.m.

“Taylor is wanted by the Yellowknife RCMP for warrants related to resisting/obstructing a police officer, possession of cocaine, operating a motor vehicle while disqualified, operating a motor vehicle while pursued by police, assault, mischief under $5,000, failure to attend court and breach of undertaking or recognizance,” an RCMP news release states.

Taylor is described by police as an Indigenous male with a slender build, short brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5’7″ tall and weighs 155 lbs.

RCMP are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Yellowknife detachment at 867-669-1111 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
