Yellowknife RCMP request assistance after armed robbery

Yellowknife RCMP needs the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Mac’s Convenience Store.

At around 4:30 a.m. on Monday, January 14th, Yellowknife RCMP received a complaint of an armed robbery at 5001 Forrest Drive, Mac’s Convenience Store.

A man entered the store alone, demanding cash from the store clerk, while holding a knife. The suspect is described as being a white man, 5 ft 10 inches tall, with a slender build, wearing a blue hoodie with red lettering on the front.

Yellowknife RCMP are requesting that if you were in the area of Franklin Drive and Forrest during the early morning hours of January 14th to please contact the detachment at 867-765-3900.
