City to give $250 off utility bill for two residents

The City of Yellowknife wants residents to sign up for electronic billing. As part of their attempt to get more citizens to sign up, they are holding an e-billing contest. They will be giving away two, $250 credits towards your city utility bill to those signed up for e-billing.

Residents can sign up for electronic billing by filling out an on-line form available at yellowknife.ca by 11 p.m. on January 30th, 2019 for the chance to win. All residents currently signed up for electronic billing are eligible to win as well.

The city also reminds residents that the city’s Virtual City Hall is a free online tool for residents to use to view, manage and pay their utility bills, view the balance of their property tax account as well as pay for tickets.
