Holiday Lights Competition Winners Announced

The winners of the 2018 Yellowknife Holiday Lights Competition have bee announced.

The winners are as follows:

Alternative – 6 Burwash Drive

Commercial Exterior – Adam Dental Clinic

Mobile Home Exterior – 145 Haener Drive

Neighbourhood – 45-49 Hordal Road

Residential Exterior – 5 Wong Court

Winter Wonderland – 5211 54 Street

Office Interior – Department of Infrastructure – DMV

The top five finalists were selected by judges from Northland Utilities between December 10th and 12th. The winners in each category received the highest number of votes on Facebook.

There were a total of 3089 votes received between December 14th and 18th and the winners will receive a gift courtesy of Northland Utilities.

The territory’s Infrastructure Department said construction of the Redknife River Bridge on Highway 1 is scheduled to begin Thursday. The construction is anticipated to continue over the next four months up to October.
