Get into the holiday spirit with a contest. The City of Yellowknife and Northland Utilities are hosting the annual Christmas Lights Competition. Judging will take place evenings from Monday, December 10th to Wednesday, December 12th. To qualify, residents are asked to have their lights on between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Then visit the City of Yellowknife’s facebook page to vote for your favourite finalist and find a story map to take your own self-guided tour of the lights.
The 2018 competition will have seven categories:
-Residential Exterior
-Mobile Home Exterior
-Neighbourhood
-Alternative
-Winter Wonderland
-Commercial Exterior
-Office Interior
